Everyone usually likes to know where their food is coming from, right? Well a good way for consumers to get that info, would be from a farmer themselves. I live in Mississauga and around this time of year, there aren't really any farmers markets to go to, however there may be some further away, but that would not be considered "local" for myself. Despite of that, between June/July to October/November, there is a farmers' market at Square One mall in Mississauga. I've attended to it a few times in the past, there are always different farmers and always very proud of the amount of people that show up to this event. It has been managed by the Mississauga Central Lions Club since 1975 and Manny Castellino is in charge of the vendors.
